Ecstatic Me!

Good morning netizens!
I'm really ecstatic right now as I am preparing for my first endeavor as a facilitator of a Leadership Training.
I'm having lots of emotions at the same time right now.

I just hope that everything will go well.
I hope I can still post articles here while I'm at DLSU-D for almost 4 days.

Pinoy Style Cheese Cake Recipe

Pinoy Style Cheese Cakes

Our own version of Cheese Cake is definitely very Pinoy and yummy!.
It is compact and solid, with a contrasting sweet and salty cheese taste.
I like using part-butter, part-oil to keep my cake moist, even after refrigeration, which is not really conventional in baking.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/2 cup Sugar
4 medium Eggs

Dry Ingredients
2 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt

Wet Ingredients
2 cans Condensed Milk
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1 cup Cheese, shredded, half to mix in, half for topping

PROCEDURE:

Pre-heat oven at 350°F;
1 Mix together the dry ingredients and sift. In a separate container, mix together the condensed milk and vegetable oil.

2 Cream butter with sugar until light in color. Add the eggs one at a time.

3 Add alternately the dry and wet ingredients, starting and ending with the dry, BUT DO NOT OVER-BEAT.

4 Stir in the cheddar cheese.

5 Using an ice cream scoop, portion the mix on lined cupcake pans and bake for 25 mins or after testing for doneness.

I'm Happy Being Single

Nakakatuwang isipin na single pa rin ako ngayon.

Sa totoo lang, masaya ako sa pagiging single. Although minsan, hindi ko maiwasang mainggit sa aking kuya, sa mga kaibigan at marami pang couples lalo na kapag nakikita ko silang naglalambingan(LAMBINGAN talaga?!) Hahahaha. :-))

Normal din naman akong tao. Nagkakagusto din naman ako, yun nga lang madalas, hanggang sa pagkakacrush lang talaga. Nauunahan kasi ako ng napakaraming WHAT IFs kaya kadalasan hindi ako naglalakas loob na magsabing gusto ko ang isang tao!

Noon, umiiyak ako kapag alam kong hanggang crush na lang talaga ang nararamdaman ko. Pero ngayon ok na sa akin ang lahat! Narealize ko kasi na hindi lang naman ang pagkakaroon ng partner ang nakakapagbigay ng kasiyahan sa isang tao. At lalong hindi naman ang pagkakaroon ng bf/gf ang syang tanging magbibigay kulay sa ating buhay( TAMA BA?!).

Ok din naman talaga ang pagiging single. You'll get to enjoy everything without limitations or restrictions from anyone. Walang magagalit o magseselos kapag lumalabas ka with your friends o kaya kapag nanonood ka ng movies mo sa sinehan. In fact, kapag single ka, pwedeng-pwede kang makipag kabigan sa kahit sinong sa tingin mo ay magiging kapalagayan mo ng loob.

Sa kaso ko rin, I can focus on my studies kasi wala akong ibang taong iniintindi at kailangang alalahanin. :-))

Pero guys, baka naman awayin nyo ako dahil lang sinasabi ko yung mga bagay na sa tingin ko ay advantages ng pagiging single. Of course, marami din namang naiudulot na ksihayan when you are in a relationship. But I have to put emphasis on what my situation is, diba?

Hindi ko rin sinasabi na hindi maaring maranasan ng mga in-a-relationship ang mga nararanasan ko, at hindi ko rin naman sinasabing hindi ko maaring maranansan ang mga nararanasan nila. Wala naman kasing batas ang nagsasabi na magkaganun.

Sa huli, it is still up to us if we'll choose to be HAPPY.

Anyway, guys, pagpasensyahan nyo na lang ako. Sadyang madrama lang ako. :-)

Sa huli, naniniwala ako na ang pagiging single ay isang biyaya. Isa itong oportunidad upang malaman natin na hindi natin kailangan ng isang relasyon o nang anupaman para maranasan ang lahat ng kaligayahan at kagandahang maibibgay ng mundong ito. Sa katunayan, ang pagmamahal pa lang ng pamilya natin at ng Diyos, more than enough na eh!
