Smart Casual

Are you planning to change how you look like while going to work? Or perhaps you just want to have some changes on your fashion statement? Whether you are concerned with the latter or the former, my own idea of a smart casual look might be perfect for you!

For this 'smart casual' look, wearing anything light-colored for your top would be a good start. Colors like beige, light cream, baby pink or purple are some of the shades you could opt to choose for your top. In our session, I chose a beige short-sleeved top for Elizabeth. Initially, I thought that maybe we could have a problem with its color since our model has a slightly dark complexion. But, when she wore it, I'm glad to see that it actually complemented with her skin tone. In fact, she looked lighter wearing it!

BOTTOM

Instead of having Elizabeth wear a skirt, I let her try on a high-waist jegging. The jegging appears to be a denim yet, it is actually stretchable and is very smooth. I also advised her to tuck in her beige short-sleeved top onto her jegging to give it a touch of being formal or casual at that. After doing so, I noticed that everything looked plain and so I decided to let her try on some of her fashionable belts.

VOILA!

Upon wearing a wide belt with a butterfly on its center, the get-up looked much better and not boring anymore. Of course, other belts aside from the wide ones can still look perfect with this 'smart casual' look, just make sure that the color you choose would suit everything.

Skin Tight-O!

Today marks the beginning of my venture to fashion blogging. I am not taking everything seriously because I am actually doing this for fun and for discovering new things in life. Last summer, I planned about making an article about fashion and I thought that the sembreak would be the most ideal time to do this. And voila! I never thought that I would be able to make one today.

So, for my very first article about fashion, I asked my dear cousin, Elizabeth, to be my model for this photo shoot and have it photographed by no other than my very mabait na kuya, EJ. We placed most of my cousin's clothes on her bed and tried looking for those that will complement each other.

The first combination we had was pairing a sleeveless top with horizontal stripes(Black, gray and red), with a girl's washed short. This actually looks nice since that light-colored washed shorts gives emphasis on the sleeveless top. Also, the horizontal stripes look perfect on Elizabeth's thin body since it actually helped in making her look a little bit more thick.

Moreover, this get-up is very ideal during summer and whenever it is hot outside. But, it is not limited to those conditions stated earlier. Of course, going to a mall wearing this kind of clothes would be very interesting. Aside from the fact that the clothes are very light and comfy, these actually let anyone who wears it flaunt what she got!

Putting on a dark make-up would give you an image of being provocative yet decent enough. Aside from this, a darker make-up would give you an impression of being confident, carefree and rebel-yet-pacified. Just make sure that when you put on a dark eye-shadow, you also have to wear a dark lipstick to portray the image of being a hot chick.

Best Skin Care Center in Cavite

Taking care of skin is one of the priorities of Filipino men and women today. Some are satisfied by using skin care products that are commercially available and some allot more money to avail skin care services that are offered by the various skin care centera we have in the province.

Indeed, not every skin care center can live up to their promises or maybe they can, but it would take a longer time before one can see light improvements in his skin.

Luckily, I have found a skin care center that can live up to my expectations. It may not be as big as compared to the skin care centers we can see in malls, yet, when it comes to customer satisfaction and service, it is probably the first in line.

I don't really know much about the history of the said skin care center but I'm sure it has 2 branches - the one in Bacoor and the other one in Imus. Anyway, we are now visiting their Imus branch for quite some time since it started operating.

You'll never have a hard time looking for their building. Anyway, the receptionists are very accomodating and staying in the lobby was comfortable. You'll wait there until your name is called. Upstairs is where they do all their operations. The room was above average - it is cozy. The building is fully air-conditioned!

The staff were very approachable. The beauty therapist assigned to me was very meticulous about her job. She never let any single white and blackhead escape be missed out. Also, those creams, scrubs, facial masks she put on my face seemed to be very effective since after washing my face, I can instantly feel the change in the texture of my face - it was softer and smoother.

One thing I would like to commend them is about the fact that the beauty therapists are well-equipped and skilled on their work. Also, the skin care center has a complete set of equipments.

Moreover, you can choose from their array of products for maintenance which are all proven to be effective!

Finally, what sets them apart is that you'll get the same services offered in other skin care centers but for a cheaper price. For example, you can avail their regular facial for only P350.00.

T'was A Rainy Morning

For me, it has always been a wonderful thing when it is cold outside. The sound of the raindrops falling on the rooftop adds up to my pleasure. The cold christmas breeze wakes me up with a tender smile on my face. It's good to know that I'll be experiencing this little gifts from God for more than two months from now.

Dahil dito, sabi ko sa sarili ko, hindi pwedeng di ako kukuha ng pictures outside. Sayang naman kung hindi man lang ako kukuha kahit mangilan-ngilan. :-)

Kayo ba? Naeenjoy nyo din yung mejo makulimlim na panahon habang umuulan ng bahagya? Masarap din sa pakiramdam ang kapanatagan na naibibigay ng ganitong panahon. Lalo na't sembreak ngayon, ang sarap MATULOG!

Mga Kwentong Kabangagan ni Dave

Naranasan mo na bang makagawa ng mga bagay na ni minsan, hindi mo inakalang magagawa o mararanasan mo dahil sa kabangagan? Yung mga bagay na sa mga gag shows mo lang mapapanood! Nakakatawa mang isipin pero nangyayari pala talaga yun sa realidad. At ang katotohanan, walang pinipiling tao ang KABANGAGAN.

Dahil kwentong kabangan na rin lang naman ang tema ng sulating ito, hayaan nyong ibahagi ko sa inyo ang aking mga sariling kwentong katatawanan.

Nasa bandang Halang na yung jeep na sinasakyan ko. Half-asleep or half-awake ako nun, whichever you think is appropriate(HAHAHA! :-D), kaya alam ko na nasa Halang na yung jeep. Pagod na pagod talaga ako as usual dahil sa hindi matatawarang bigat ng pag-aaral sa UPLB. Kaya ayun, I took the chance to sleep habang nasa byahe.
Tulog ako pero gising na gising ang diwa ko at iniisip ko pa rin ang studies ko nung time na yun. Then, biglang nagbago, nananaginip na ata ako. Nakakatakot yung panaginip ko ah, in fairness. Tapos yung tipong nasa climax na ako nung panaginip ko, bigla daw may babaeng multo nagpakita sa harap ko.

ANYARE?

SUMIGAW LANG NAMAN AKO SA JEEP(yung napapanood natin sa palabas na hitsura ng mga bida kapag binabangugot/nananaginip sila ng nakakatakot. Naimagine ko yung sarili ko na DILAT NA DILAT NA MATA habang sumisigaw ng "AHHHH!"
Buti na lang kaunti lang kami na nandun.
Kitang-kita ko talaga kung paano nagreact yung ibang pasahero, natatawa na nagtataka. Marahil iniisip nilang OVER ako kung managinip.

What Boredom Leads To

Good evening netizens!
Ngayon na lang ako ulit nakpagpost sa pinakamamahal kong blog na ito - oo, mahal ko ang blog na ito! Hahahaha. :-D
Anyway, guys, anong ginagawa nyo kapag inaatake kayo ng boredom?
Ako, madalas, napapapunta sa banyo and hulaan nyo kung anong ginagawa ko sa banyo.

Walang iba kundi ang KUMANTA!
Ewan ko ba kung bakit ang hilig hilig kong kumanta. Di naman kagandahan ang boses ko pero gustong-gusto ko talagang kumanta - lalo na yung mga mataas yung  nota. Nakakachallenge kasi eh.

Kaya favorite spot ko din banyo kasi feeling ko gumaganda pakinggan ang boses ko dahil sa echo.

At dahil nalaman nyo na rin naman ang sikreto ko, sasampolan ko na kayo. Sana mag-enjoy kayo sa renditon ko ng Smile. :-D

Fallin' in Love Again

Good evening folks! 

It has always been a pleasure to interact with other netizens through my blog yet, these past few days, I haven't been hearing anything from them - including you! Hahaha. Actually, all I want is to read some comments from you, guys! :-)

Anyway, like what the title of this new entry says, I think I'm fallin' in love again... 

Yes! I'm fallin' in love again for the nth time!

Sa totoo lang, hindi ko ugaling sabihin kapag naiinlove ako pero this time, ang saya lang ng feeling na naeexpress ko yung nararamdaman ko through my blog. Hindi ko rin ugaling pangalanan o kaya ishare sa mga kaibigan ko kung sino yung taong nagugustuhan ko, unless alam kong mapagkakatiwalaan ko talaga yung kaibigan ko.

Kung tatanungin ako kung pano ko nagustuhan yung tao, ang masasabi ko lang, nagustuhan ko sya kasi nakita ko sa kanya yung mga katangiang gusto ko sa isang tao - mabait, matalino at karespe-respeto. Syempre, kahit hindi ako gwapo, may taste naman ako! Hahaha.

Kidding aside, I just wanna share how ecstatic I am everytime I read posts from this person I'm talking about. Yung tipong, makita mo pa lang sa notifs mo na may new post sya, biglang nanlalaki ang mga mata ko at bumibilis ang tibok ng puso ko! It may sound cheesy, but this is really what happens to me everytime na napapadpad ako sa wall nya sa facebook. Alam yan ng isa sa mga closest friends kong si Tine! :-)

Di ko rin masasabi kung love nga talaga 'to or kung infatuation lang itong nararamdaman ko, pero isang bagay lang ang sigurado, INSPIRED ako. At wala naman sigurong masama sa pagiging inspired diba? At least, inspired akong mag-aral, kumanta, magsulat at marami pang iba!

O, sya, sa mga may exams pa diyan, mag-aral na din kayo at nang maging masaya naman ang sembreak natin!

REVIEW: St. IVES Daily Hydrating Vitamin E Lotion

Like what I said on my previous post, I've always been taking care of my skin because ever since I was a child, I wanted to have a fairer skin. However, I can still remember how putting on lotion on my skin made me irritated because of the discomforting feeling it gives me. But everything changed when I realized the need to nourish my skin and keep it moisturized everyday.

I came across various lotions - whitening, moisturizing, etc. But there is only one brand and one product from them that I sticked to - St. Ives Daily Hydrating Vitamin E lotion. I started using this product last year when I went to SM Department Store in SM Dasmarinas to buy some stuffs for myself. I've heard some of my classmates talk about this brand and I've read numerous reviews about their products online and it really gave me the urge to try it when I saw it on the stand. I am really lucky that SM sells it. :-)

Regarding the product, I really like its lightness, its fragrance - which is not too overpowering. Of course, its consistency is  a plus! In a span of a year, I would say that it really made my skin healthier, smoother and more evened. Amazingly, one thing I noticed is that although the product doesn't promise lightening, it seemed like it helped to! THE FINAL VERDICT

This product is indeed a must-try!

You've got to have a healthier skin by using this product continuously. And what really caught my respect for this product is that it does more than what it promised.

REVIEW: Hype Ardent Gluta-C Whitening Facial Day Cream

To have a fairer skin is a big issue among Filipinos and it is one thing that most of us would love to have. I, too, want to have a fairer skin even when I was younger. In fact,  it is one thing that most of us would love to have. I, too, want to have a fairer skin even when I was younger. In fact, I have used a lot of whitening products in the market that encompasses soaps, lotions and creams.

Some seemed to work out for me but, most of the time, those products fell short of their claims. Good thing I started using Ardent Hype Whitening Facial Day cream. I came across this product one Sunday Morning at SM Dasmarinas Supermarket. It was on the yellow tag stand inside the supermarket so it really caught my attention. Honestly, upon seeing that it is from Ardent, I didn't have second thoughts on buying it because I once tried their glutathione soap and it indeed made my skin some tones fairer.

When I got home, I washed my face and immediately went to my room to try the product. I liked the fact that it is manufactured in tube because it reduces the possibilityof spilling some of the cream. When I applied it on my face, I noticed that it is non-greasy and it feels light to the skin. For that, I'm giving it an A+ because I really don't like creams which makes my face feel oily.

I've been using the cream for a week, and I noticed that it reduced the dark spots I have on my cheeks. Also, I noticed that my face is glowing unlike before where my face looks unhealthy. Sadly, I wasn't able to take some pictures of myself using my kuya's DSLR prior to using the product - that would surely make it more convincing that this product is effective sana.

THE FINAL VERDICT

I would continue using this product and would buy another tube when I'm done with my first. Also, I'm giving this product more time so I can see if it indeed helps in protecting my skin whenever under sunlight.

REVIEW: Zen Zest Tangerine

Before I start writing my review about one of the Zen Zest’s Household favorites, the very yummy Tangerine, I would like to express my desire for everyone to accept me in the blogging community as it is my first time to write a review of a product i use.

Anyway, Zen Zest has always been one of the brands that has caught my attention ever since- even prior to buying their products. My aunties are loyal patrons of their scents so there were times when I would go to their rooms and try on some of their perfumes and colognes. Not knowing that majority of their perfumes are from Zen Zest, I already had my own favorites from their array of fragrances – and of course, now I know that they are from Zen Zest!

One of my favorites is the Zen Zest Tangerine. Its scent is extremely refreshing as it dazzles with fruity notes of Watermelon infused with the citrusy scent of Tangerine. When I brought some of my friends in a Zen Zest kiosk at SM Dasmarinas, I asked the saleslady to let them try on some of their scents. As usual, Tangerine was one of the two scents my friends gave a “yes” to. The other was the Magenta.

When I used it for the first time going to school, I noticed that people where looking at me whenever I came their way and while inside a jeepney. Maybe they not expecting that a scent like that of Zen Zest’s Tangerine could be so perfect for a guy like me.

About the lasting time of the scent, it could last until 4 hours if the weather is not too hot, Otherwise, it could only last until 2-2 and a half hours. Nevertheless, it is pretty much impressive, considering the fact that it is just priced P200.

THE FINAL VERDICT

I would definitely recommend this scent to my friends and I would buy another bottle once I’m done with my first.
